Durable and lightweight sheet metal wall and ceiling panels offer architects and contractors a multitude of striking ways to meet their design specifications.
At Heather & Little our team is highly skilled at fabricating and working with sheet metal wall and ceiling panels and architectural panels and can provide you with the complete restoration skill set your project requires. Whether you need custom metal wall panels for a commercial building or would like to install reproduction ceiling panels on a historical building, our craftsmen are ready to assist. For example, H&L have expertly tackled the restoration and reproduction of stamped metal storefronts, commonly known as Meskers. Our artisans will work with you to choose the appropriate metal for the project, ranging from zinc, copper, pre-painted steel, pre-galvanized steel and more. We typically work with single skin metal panels for sheet metal walls and architectural panels; essentially a single interlocking layer of pre-finished or natural metal that has been pre-formed into a specific profile. Single skin panels can be installed horizontally or vertically, in less time and more economically than other metal panel systems. The panels’ lighter weight makes them easy to handle and install, and their flexibility allows minor on site adjustments to accommodate inconsistencies in the architectural panels.
The Mayan Revival Style residence is one of the most significant architectural estates in LA. One of the most distinctive features of the home are the oxidized patterned copper architectural panels, reminiscent of details in Mesoamerican temples. Heather & Little were tasked with recreating approximately a quarter of the copper panels for replacement on the landmark home.
